B&W obtains personal information about you when you decide to provide information to it either through employment application forms, through the resume posting and/or the sign-in process. It is not necessary to provide any employment application information to view job openings.

B&W requests your name, address, city, country, state, postal code, telephone and email address. We also request information regarding your job preferences, current and prior employment, referral source, competencies, education, language proficiencies, professional qualifications, analytical skills. Additionally, depending upon your location or the location of the job, we may request optional references and self-identification information (e.g., in the United States of America, we request gender, race and ethnicity as optional self-identification information which is used for EEO (Equal Employment Opportunity reporting)). There is also an opportunity to provide a free-form resume/CV.

B&W does not use electronic mechanisms such as “cookies” at this site; however, this site is hosted by a third party that hosts and manages the application and technical infrastructure.

How does B&W use the personal information that you decide to provide?
The personal information you provide will be used,to the extent permitted by law, to evaluate your qualifications, and fill job openings. If you are chosen for a particular job opening, B&W will retain this information and process it in relation to your employment with B&W and its affiliates. In order to evaluate your information, it may be transferred to countries or jurisdictions that may not provide the same level of data protection as the legal jurisdictions where you are located. Wherever the information is accessed or transferred, it will be subject to this policy. So that you can return and apply for additional job openings and for internal reporting purposes, your information will be retained in the system for up to one year (five years for applicants located in the United States of America) after you last access your account, unless you choose to delete your information (please see below for details of how to access, update or delete personal information). Additionally, B&W may contact you should another job opportunity come up which may suit your background and interests.
B&W will use the contact information to reach you regarding receipt of information from you and other employment related communications. Your email address and password will be used to identify you. The optional self-identification information will not be used in connection with consideration for employment, and will only be used when applicable laws require processing this information for government reporting.
In addition, the personal information that you provide may be de-identified (rendered anonymous) and used, for example, to allow B&W to better understand the aggregate characteristics of those who are applying for jobs at B&W.
How does B&W safeguard personal information?

Settlement of Disputes (applicable for Indonesia only)
Any dispute arising between you and B&W in relation to this privacy statement shall be settled amicably. If any dispute cannot be settled amicably by deliberation, you and B&W agree that (i) the dispute shall be settled in accordance with the mechanism for the settlement of industrial relations disputes as provided under the prevailing laws and regulations if you have entered into an employment agreement with B&W, or (ii) the dispute shall be submitted to a Board of Arbitration under the applicable rules of the Indonesian National Board of Arbitration (BANI) if you have not entered into an employment agreement with B&W.
